Meet Annabel & Jane

The Need for Jam Up!

Jane had tried everything—buying softer fabrics, and negotiating outfit choices—but Annabel’s sensitivity to seams and textures remained overwhelming. School uniform days were particularly difficult, often leading to frustration, tears, and delays in getting out the door. “We needed a structured, engaging, and supportive way to help Annabel manage her sensory needs and build independence in getting dressed”.
That’s when Jane discovered Jam Up!

Parent Feedback

“Jam Up! has completely transformed our mornings. Annabel used to get so upset over her uniform, and I felt helpless. Now, she’s much calmer, and we have tools that actually work! The dressing guide keeps her focused, and the activities—especially the pillow fight—have been a game-changer. We’re not 100% there yet, but for the first time, I feel like we’re making real progress.” – Jane, Annabel’s Mum

Guided Dressing Support

Jam Up!’s engaging step-by-step dressing guide helped Annabel focus on the process of getting dressed, rather than the discomfort of certain clothes. The visual instructions, calming tone, and predictable sequence made mornings smoother.

Tips on Seamless Clothing & Sensory Strategies

Through Jam Up!, Jane learned about alternative uniform options, such as seamless socks and soft, tag-free tops, making a huge difference in Annabel’s comfort. The app also introduced desensitization techniques, helping Annabel slowly adjust to different textures in a way that felt safe and manageable.

Desensitizing Feet

One of Annabel’s biggest struggles was wearing school socks and shoes. Jam Up! suggested fun, sensory-friendly activities, (like a desensitizing foot massage) to help her get used to different sensations gradually.

The Pillow Fight Game – A Big Win!

One of Jam Up!’s recommended sensory activities—a pillow fight—quickly became a favourite in Annabel’s house! The deep pressure from the game helped her regulate her sensory system, making it easier to tolerate different textures in clothing afterward.
